OMG! I can't believe I'm blogging!!
OMG! My graduation picture is too funny! This is what I get when I give all authority to my eldest son to set up my blog and webpage. Yes, I have made the decision to start blogging. It has only taken me at least six emails to Bruce to find out how to log in. Not a good sign! I struggle with the postmodern/emergent phenomena when I am such a "dork" in tech info. I am thankful for Bruce's guidance and work in creating my blog. But the graduation picture has got to go!!! Thanks Bruce!
Blogging seems such an easy thing when I read my children's blogs. It looked rather simple and informative. Until I had to write this first blog. What do I blog about? My children! They bring me the most joy! Lauren is a gifted writer and everything she writes about is creative and a work of art. Bruce writes about everything and most of the time I am impressed, sometimes I think he's just goofy!! Deanne's site is filled with wonderful pictures of our fourth granddaughter. Kevin's is on myspace and I am not ready for that yet!!
Here's the update on my babies - Kevin, the baby, is recovering from a motorcycle accident (it wasn't his fault!) seeing an orthopedist this week. Lauren is finishing up her first year of two at UCLA (Masters in Ed and Teaching Credential) and we are all getting ready for the BIG DAY when Beadle and her get married (can't wait), Manang Deanne (financial aid counselor) and Ron (comptroller) are great parents for Ava (only baby I know that has a "juicy coutre" burp cloth) and then there's Manong Bruce (Pastor and tech geek) and Robin (real estate agent and teacher) who are the parents of three of my wonderful grandchildren, Evelyn (reader and artist), Abigial (fashion critic) and Analise(the baby). "Manang" and "Manong" are Filipino terms of respect for the eldest siblings. My parents made my siblings call me Manang and I continued the tradition. I am blessed to have great chidren (including my inlaws) and of course, beautiful and wonderful grandchildren.
